Stainless steel capillary and stainless steel small tubes are widely used in medical treatment, fiber-optic, pen making, electronic welding products, light cable joints, food, vintage, dairy, drinks, pharmacy, and biochemistry. Different lengths can be provided according to specific requests.

Capillary tubes are available with a maximum bore of 0.0158 in. in a wide range of stainless steels. These capillary tubes are characterized by tight tolerances, and the inside surface of the tubes is free from oil, grease, and other particles. This ensures, for example, an optimized and even flow of liquids and gases from the sensor to the measuring instrument.

Stainless steel Coiled tubing is available in a range of different product forms depending on customer requirements. Welded and seamless tube products are manufactured in standard grades including 304, 304L, 316L (UNS S31603), Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 & S31803), Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Other grades of stainless steel in duplex, superduplex, and nickel alloy are available on request.

Diameter ranges from 3mm (0.118’’) to 25.4mm (1.00’’) OD. Wall thickness ranges from 0.5mm (0.020’’) to 3mm (0.118’’). Tubing can be supplied in the annealed or cold worked stainless steel control line pipe condition.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the primary applications of stainless steel capillary tubes?
Stainless steel capillary tubes are widely utilized in high-precision industries including medical devices, industrial temperature sensors, instrumentation, micro-antennas, electronics, chemical dosing, and oil and gas control lines.
What material grades are available for coiled tubing?
Standard grades include 304, 304L, 316L (UNS S31603), Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 & S31803), Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Other specialized grades are available upon request.
What size ranges can be manufactured?
The outer diameter (OD) ranges from 3mm (0.118’’) to 25.4mm (1.00’’), and the wall thickness ranges from 0.5mm (0.020’’) to 3mm (0.118’’). Capillary tubes can have a maximum bore limit down to 0.0158 inches.
How are the internal surfaces of the capillary tubes cleaned?
All capillary tubes undergo bright annealing, which ensures the inside surface is completely free from oil, grease, dust, and other micro-particles, maintaining an optimized, consistent flow of liquids and gases.
What quality assurance tests do these tubes undergo?
The tubes undergo non-destructive testing, hydrostatic testing, surface finish inspections, dimensional accuracy verification, flare and coning tests, and comprehensive mechanical and chemical property analyses.
Are custom packing methods available?
Yes, coiled tubes can be packaged using woven bags, plastic wrapping, wooden spools, or other customized configurations to secure the tubing during transit and storage.
