Stainless steel capillary and stainless steel small tubes are widely used in medical treatments, fiber-optics, pen making, electronic welding products, light cable joints, food, vintage, dairy, drinks, pharmacy, and biochemistry. Different lengths can be provided according to customized requests.

Capillary tubes are available with a maximum bore of 0.0158 in., across a wide range of stainless steels. These capillary tubes are characterized by tight tolerances, and the inside surface of the tubes is kept completely free from oil, grease, and other particles. This design ensures an optimized, consistent, and even flow of liquids and gases from the sensor to the measuring instrument.

Stainless steel Coiled tubing is available in a range of different product forms depending on customer requirements. We supply both welded and seamless tube products. The standard grades include 304, 304L, 316L (UNS S31603), Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 & S31803), Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Other grades of stainless steel in duplex, super duplex, and nickel alloys are available upon request.

The manufacturing specifications range from 3mm (0.118’’) to 25.4mm (1.00’’) OD. Wall thickness ranges from 0.5mm (0.020’’) to 3mm (0.118’’). Tubing can be supplied in either annealed or cold-worked stainless steel control line pipe conditions.

The external diameter of the coiled tubing ranges from 3mm (0.118’’) to 25.4mm (1.00’’) OD, with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm (0.020’’) to 3mm (0.118’’). Custom sizing can also be supplied in annealed or cold-worked conditions depending on system specifications.
Which stainless steel grades are offered for coiled tubing?
Standard grades offered include 304, 304L, 316L (UNS S31603), Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 & S31803), Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Other specialized duplex and nickel alloy grades are available on request.
How is the inside surface quality of the capillary tubes maintained?
The capillary tubes are carefully processed to ensure that the inside surfaces remain completely free of oil, grease, and particulate matter. This strict control provides an optimized, uniform flow of gases and liquids, making them highly reliable for sensors and measuring instruments.
What quality testing processes do the tubes undergo?
Finished control lines and coiled tubing undergo comprehensive quality checks, including non-destructive tests, hydrostatic pressure tests, surface finish inspections, dimensional measurements, flare/coning tests, and mechanical/chemical parameter testing.
What are the main applications of stainless steel capillary and coiled tubes?
They are widely used in medical equipment, fiber-optics, refrigeration systems, heat exchangers, food processing, beer and beverage dispensing systems, aerospace, communications, and downhole chemical injection systems in the oil and gas sector.
What length can be provided per coil?
Coiled tubing can typically be supplied in lengths ranging from 200m to 1500m per individual coil. Custom continuous lengths can also be configured according to customer packaging and site requirements.
