Grade 304 (UNS S30400) is the standard "18/8" stainless steel, belonging to the austenitic family. Its distinct chromium-nickel alloy composition delivers superior oxidation resistance and mechanical strength under harsh industrial working conditions.
At Liaocheng Sihe Stainless Steel Material LTD, we control the chemical balance of Grade 304 with extreme precision. The high nickel concentration (8.0% - 10.5%) stabilizes the austenitic structure, ensuring exceptional ductility, non-magnetic properties, and superior formability. Meanwhile, the chromium content (18.0% - 20.0%) builds a continuous, self-healing passive oxide film that stops deep pitting and general corrosion.

This process heats the stainless steel tubing under a dry hydrogen and nitrogen atmosphere to recrystallize the metal grain structure. Keeping the chamber oxygen-free prevents oxide scale from forming, resulting in a smooth, high-purity, reflective finish. Bright annealing also eliminates residual stresses from cold drawing, improving the pipe’s flexibility and corrosion resistance for high-vibration applications.

Our future roadmap targets higher yield strengths and enhanced pitting resistance equivalent numbers (PREN). We are optimizing high-alloy materials, including Duplex 2205, Super Duplex 2507, and nickel-based superalloys (Inconel 625, Incoloy 825). These alloys provide excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement.
