ASTM A213 TP321 incorporates Titanium (Ti) in a minimum ratio of 5x(C+N) to preferentially bind carbon. This successfully prevents chromium carbide precipitation within the sensitization temperature range of 800°F to 1500°F (427°C to 816°C), preserving the matrix's local chromium levels and securing outstanding intergranular corrosion resistance.
With an operating ceiling well above standard 304 and 316 grades, TP321 maintains superior creep rupture and tensile properties. The addition of titanium limits grain boundary deformation, ensuring that high-pressure boiler tube applications remain structurally sound under continuous thermal cycling up to 816°C.
Designed primarily for heat-exchangers, superheaters, and boiler systems, ASTM A213 specifies tight tolerances on wall-thickness and eccentricity. TP321 is the direct equivalent to EN 1.4541 (X6CrNiTi18-10), offering strict chemical composition rules that guarantee cross-border design compatibility for global EPC engineering firms.

Our continuous seamless coiled tubing lengths reach up to 10,000 meters (32,800 feet). This reduces the need for orbital welding in high-integrity subsea chemical injection systems and refinery steam tracing.
