Manufacturing Process Details
- 1We use Cold Drawn techonology to produce U bend tube
- 2U bend tubes produce will accordance to customer's drawings
- 3To avoid oxidation , inert gas (Argon) is passed through tubes ID at the required flow rate
- 4The radius is checked for its OD and wall thinning with the recommended specification
- 5We'll choose three different position or as customer's require to make sure tubes quality. We'll do physical properties and micro-structure test
- 6Visual inspection for waviness and cracks is done with Dye Penetrant Test
- 7Each tube is then hydro tested at the recommended pressure to check for leakage

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the primary applications of ASTM A312 316L stainless steel exchanger pipes?
They are highly suitable for various heat exchangers including seawater coolers, condensers, evaporators, heaters, and reheaters. They are widely utilized in petroleum, chemical processing, power station transmission fluids, and pressure-piped ship systems.
Which material grades and standards are available for these coiled tubes?
Our tubes comply with standards such as ASTM A312, ASTM A269, and ASTM A213. Available grades include ASTM A213 S304/304L, 316/316L, 317L, 321/321H, 410, and Duplex 2205 (UNS S31803), along with various international grade standards.
What production technologies and testing methods are used for U-bend tubes?
We employ Cold Drawn and Cold Rolled technologies. Quality is assured via physical property tests, micro-structure checks, visual inspection using Dye Penetrant Tests for cracks, and hydrostatic testing to confirm leak-free integrity.
How are the surfaces of the exchanger pipes protected during transport?
Unless specified otherwise, all tubes are delivered with their inner and outer surfaces temporarily protected using a light mineral oil film. Additionally, each piece is wrapped in a woven bag and packed in seaworthy wooden cases.
What is the chemical composition requirement for TP316L exchanger raw material?
TP316L (UNS S31603) requires a carbon content maximum of 0.035%, silicon maximum of 1.00%, manganese maximum of 2.00%, chromium content between 16.0% and 18.0%, nickel content between 10.0% and 14.0%, and molybdenum between 2.0% and 3.0%.
What are the common industrial uses for precision capillary tubes?
Capillary tubes are widely used in medical devices, industrial temperature sensors, thermometers, electronics requiring small-diameter protection, watch parts, antenna components, laser engraving systems, printers, and precision dispensing needles.
