Sihe Steel
Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than Grade 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
Grade 316L, the low carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitisation (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm). There is commonly no appreciable price difference between 316 and 316L stainless steel.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.
Compared to chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, 316L stainless steel offers higher creep, stress to rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.
These properties are specified for flat rolled product (plate, sheet and coil) in ASTM A240/A240M. Similar but not necessarily identical properties are specified for other products such as pipe and bar in their respective specifications.

Seamless coiled tubing is a no. 1 choice in most of the critical applications as there is no risk of impurities that are often associated with welded coiled tubing.
We have experience to export stainless steel tube products for more than ten years.
Description: Production of stainless steel coil has ten years of history, has two production lines can produce continuous welded pipe, equipment is perfect, the technology leader. The factory introduced the world first-class bright annealing technology, can online stainless steel pipe softening treatment. In addition, we also have compressed, flaring, bending test, hardness 100%, stretch, air tightness test and so on, the price is reasonable, quality is reliable, the current US 80% coil export to all over the world.
Grade 316L is the low-carbon version of Grade 316. This lower carbon content makes it immune to sensitisation (grain boundary carbide precipitation), which makes it highly suitable for heavy gauge welded components. There is typically no significant price difference between the two grades.
The coiled tubes are manufactured in strict compliance with ASTM A269 and ASTM A249 standards, ensuring consistent dimensions, chemical composition, and performance metrics.
The tubes are commonly produced with an outer diameter range of 6.52mm to 20mm and a wall thickness of 0.2mm to 2mm. Lengths per individual coil range from 300 to 3500 meters, which can also be tailored to specific customer specifications.
Seamless coiled tubing is the preferred option because it carries zero risk of impurities often associated with welded tubing seams. This structural integrity improves system reliability, provides higher corrosion resistance, and eliminates the need for joints and fittings, thereby preventing leaks and lowering installation labor costs.
To guarantee high performance and safety, the coiled tubes undergo comprehensive inspections. These include flaring, compression, and bending tests, along with 100% hardness evaluations, stretch tests, and rigorous air tightness checks.
The coiled tubes can be supplied in soft, half-hard, or soft bright annealed states. Bright annealing is carried out online using world-class technologies to ensure a consistent, clean, and softened finish.
