Discover our core range of custom-fabricated, heavy-duty stainless steel heat exchanger tubing. Built to comply strictly with EN, ASME, ASTM, and DIN standards for industrial deployments across Ireland.
AISI Grade 410 (EN 1.4006) is a martensitic stainless steel that delivers an optimized balance of moderate corrosion resistance, exceptionally high mechanical strength, and superior thermal conductivity compared to standard austenitic steels like 304 or 316. While austenitic grades are commonly preferred for general-purpose sanitary pipelines, they are frequently limited by lower yield strength and a susceptibility to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) under cyclic thermal stress.
In modern thermodynamic design, thermal conductivity is the critical driver of overall system efficiency. Grade 410 offers approximately 24.9 W/m·K at 100°C, which is roughly 50% higher than the thermal conductivity of Grade 316L (approx. 16.3 W/m·K). This significant thermodynamic advantage allows engineers in Irish manufacturing sectors to design heat exchangers with thinner tube walls, smaller footprints, and lower thermal inertia, translating directly into lower system lifecycle costs.
"By leveraging the high yield strength and thermal efficiency of martensitic 410 stainless steel, industrial processing plants can achieve up to a 15% reduction in total heat exchanger surface area while maintaining identical heat-transfer rates."
Grade 410 contains 11.5% to 13.5% Chromium, which forms a stable passive oxide film that resists mild atmospheric environments, fresh water, and steam. After heat treatment (quenching and tempering), it exhibits:
Ireland’s industrial landscape is undergoing a massive transformation driven by the twin goals of decarbonization and operational efficiency. Main manufacturing hubs in Cork, Dublin, Galway, and the Shannon Estuary are facing strict regulations regarding energy utilization and waste heat recovery. Our 410 stainless steel exchanger pipes are designed to address these specific regional demands.
As Europe's primary data center hub, Dublin requires massive cooling infrastructures. Our 410 stainless steel exchanger tubing offers high structural reliability and efficient heat rejection in liquid-to-air cooling systems, minimizing water usage and energy consumption.
Dairy pasteurization and brewing processes require frequent temperature cycles. The fatigue resistance and high thermal conductivity of Grade 410 make it ideal for secondary heat recovery loops where utility steam is condensed to preheat milk or wort.
For coastal installations and shipbuilding plants in Belfast and Cork, our pipes serve as key components in heavy-duty utility condensers and hydraulic piping systems where robust structural properties are necessary.
Liaocheng Sihe Stainless Steel Material LTD is a premier global manufacturer specializing in high-end stainless steel coiled tubing, precision capillary tubes, and heat exchanger pipes. We operate six state-of-the-art production lines, executing rigid quality control protocols to serve critical projects in over 30 countries.
To ensure complete compliance with European directives—specifically the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU)—our facility utilizes advanced bright annealing (BA) technology. This online heat treatment process operates under a controlled hydrogen atmosphere to soften the pipes, eliminate internal stresses, and deliver a clean, oxide-free surface finish.
We implement comprehensive mechanical testing, including flaring, flattening, hardness, tensile strength, and hydrostatic pressure testing. Every single heat exchanger tube is subjected to a 100% air-tightness test or non-destructive eddy current testing, ensuring zero defects upon delivery to your project site in Dublin, Cork, or Belfast.
Beyond manufacturing bare pipes, we provide complete, ready-to-install fabricated solutions tailored for high-thermal stress environments.
Quality is not a slogan; it is the foundation of our engineering. We maintain rigorous standards tracking, certified under global management systems.

As the global industry shifts toward carbon neutrality, the design of thermal systems is evolving. Heat recovery from low-temperature streams, waste heat utilization from manufacturing facilities, and the deployment of closed-loop systems are key trends. For these applications, martensitic steels like Grade 410 provide an ideal solution, combining structural integrity at high temperatures with cost-efficiency.
Our research and development pipeline is focused on optimizing surface roughness and internal cleanliness. This research is crucial for high-efficiency heat exchangers where scaling and fouling can significantly degrade thermal performance. By utilizing specialized drawing and polishing techniques, we offer internal surfaces that reduce fouling factors, lowering cleaning cycles and boosting the long-term COP (Coefficient of Performance) of industrial systems in Ireland.
From capillary coils to thick-walled industrial pipes, we manufacture a wide range of corrosion-resistant products to support all types of thermal exchange systems.
