Sihe Steel
Our top-selected corrosion resistant tubing engineered to meet the demanding standards of Northern Europe's industrial processing systems.
Poland has established itself as one of Central Europe's primary hubs for chemical processing, food manufacturing, and heavy engineering. The modernization of municipal district heating networks (ciepłownictwo) in major metropolitan areas such as Warsaw, Kraków, and Poznań, alongside extensive petrochemical upgrades near Gdańsk and Płock, has driven unprecedented demand for high-performance heat exchange tubing.
Specifically, 316L (EN 1.4404) stainless steel has become the design standard due to its low carbon chemistry, reducing the risk of sensitization and intergranular corrosion during welding. Poland’s adherence to stringent European Union environmental directives necessitates absolute process efficiency, placing pressure on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies to select materials with high Pitting Resistance Equivalent Numbers (PREN ≥ 23) to withstand saline municipal waters and acidic industrial residues.

Why modern engineering designs specify TP316L over standard grades for thermal systems.
By limiting carbon to 0.03% max, the formation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries is suppressed. This critical feature allows post-weld fabrication for heat exchangers without requiring post-heating treatments in Polish fabrication yards.
The addition of molybdenum guarantees superior resistance against localized pitting in chloride-laden environments compared to standard 304/304L. Ideal for thermal systems processing brackish industrial coolant waters.
Manufactured to ASTM A269 and ASTM A213 standards. Our processing lines guarantee precise wall thickness uniformity and concentricity, preventing premature thermal stress cracks in shell and tube setups.
When engineering industrial boilers, chillers, or geothermal loops in Poland, material selection dictates the operational lifespan of the entire system. Polish thermal waters, often loaded with hydrogen sulfide and dissolved salts, create highly corrosive operational zones. While duplex alloys such as UNS S32205 (Duplex 2205) represent the pinnacle of stress corrosion cracking prevention, their high material cost and rigid fabrication procedures can make them cost-prohibitive for standard systems.
The fully austenitic microstructure of ASTM A269 TP316L provides exceptional toughness and ductility down to cryogenic temperatures. In winter conditions experienced across Poland, mechanical resilience against thermal shock is paramount. The presence of nickel (10.0% to 14.0%) stabilizes the austenite phase and suppresses the formation of brittle phases. Furthermore, during cold-forming operations such as U-bending (common in heat exchanger fabrication), TP316L exhibits uniform work-hardening characteristics, ensuring minimal wall-thinning in the outer radius of the bends.
Liaocheng Sihe utilizes advanced online vacuum bright annealing technology. Processing the tubes in a hydrogen-nitrogen controlled atmosphere preserves the structural chromium at the surface layer, preventing the formation of scale and oxide tints. For Polish pharmaceutical and food processing companies in regions like Mazovia and Silesia, this translates to extremely smooth inner diameters (Ra < 0.4 μm) that inhibit bacterial growth and scale deposits, minimizing pressure drops across the thermal cycle.
Complete range of capillary, polished, coiled, and specialized alloy piping options matching international standards (GB, ASTM, ASME, JIS, EN).
