How titanium stabilization solves critical sensitization challenges in high-temperature and highly corrosive industries.
316Ti Stainless Steel (UNS S31635 / 1.4571) represents the pinnacle of austenitic stainless steel metallurgy, particularly when performance demands exceed the limits of standard 316 and 316L. By introducing titanium stabilization, 316Ti effectively prevents intergranular corrosion caused by chromium carbide precipitation in the sensitization temperature range of 425°C to 815°C (800°F to 1500°F).
Unlike 316L which relies purely on carbon reduction (keeping carbon levels < 0.03% to mitigate sensitization), 316Ti utilizes titanium atoms to preferentially bind with carbon, forming stable titanium carbides. This allows the chromium content to remain fully distributed throughout the metal matrix, preserving the critical passive chromium oxide layer.
This metallurgical safety mechanism has made 316Ti the standard choice for global engineering firms engaged in petrochemical processing, thermal power generation, marine umbilicals, and advanced exhaust systems. As industries push operating limits to maximize thermal efficiency, the demand for high-integrity 316Ti pipes and tubes continues to scale rapidly across North America, Europe, and Asia.
A data-backed comparison of 316, 316L, and 316Ti alloy variants to inform engineering selection.
| Alloy Grade | UNS / EN Standard | Carbon Content (Max) | Titanium Stabilization Formula | Elevated Temp. Strength (> 500°C) | Pitting Corrosion Resistance (PREN) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 316 | UNS S31600 / 1.4401 | 0.08% | None | Moderate | ~23 - 25 |
| 316L | UNS S31603 / 1.4404 | 0.03% | None | Lower (due to low carbon) | ~23 - 25 |
| 316Ti | UNS S31635 / 1.4571 | 0.08% | 5 x (C+N) to 0.70% max | Excellent (enhanced creep strength) | ~23 - 26 |
*Note: The addition of Titanium not only prevents carbide precipitation but also refines the grain structure, leading to superior creep rupture properties and mechanical stability under sustained thermal loads.

Established as a pioneering force in the precision tubular sector, Liaocheng sihe stainless steel material LTD stands as a premier Chinese manufacturer specialized in high-performance stainless steel coiled tubes, polishing tubes, and seamless coiled tubing. Utilizing six advanced production lines and state-of-the-art metallurgical control, we manufacture strictly according to GB, ASTM, ASME, JIS, and EN standards.
Our core alloy portfolio includes Austenitic grades 304/304L, 316L, 321, 317L, 309S, 310S, alongside specialized alloys such as INCOLOY 800/825, INCONEL 625, Duplex 2205, and Super Duplex 2507.
By introducing first-class online bright annealing technology, we perform real-time soft-annealing treatments under highly controlled hydrogen protective gas atmospheres. This prevents surface oxidation and preserves a pristine ID/OD surface finish, making our tubes ideal for deep-water oil and gas operations, semiconductor fabrication, military applications, and aerospace hydraulic networks.
Redefining industrial tube production through digitization, online testing, and logistics synergy.
Our online bright annealing facilities operate under a pure hydrogen protective atmosphere, ensuring consistent mechanical softening and clean, carbon-free surfaces without surface scale.
We deploy 100% Eddy Current and Hydrostatic testing alongside mechanical evaluations (compression, flaring, bending, and tensile testing) to ensure zero defect rates before export.
Supporting lengths up to 32,800 feet (10,000 meters) in seamless coils. By eliminating orbital butt welds, we significantly lower risk profiles for deep subsea oil and gas umbilicals.
Our comprehensive selection of steel shapes and tubes serves crucial industrial infrastructure projects globally:
From custom processing to surface finishing, our modern facility accommodates custom OEM configurations:
Where high reliability, temperature resistance, and long-term stability are non-negotiable.
Engineered for high integrity fluid delivery systems in corrosive offshore environments.
Utilizing high-end Duplex 2205, Austenitic 316Ti, and Incoloy 825 materials to support severe downhole pressure zones.
1/2 inch coiled steel tubing designed for heavy industrial heat exchangers and hydraulic distribution setups.

Our prices are subject to change depending on supply, raw material markets (nickel and molybdenum rates), and other macroeconomic factors. We will send you an updated price list after your company contacts us for further information.
Yes, we require all international orders to have an ongoing minimum order quantity depending on custom sizes. If you are looking to resell or procure in smaller quantities, please consult our sales team for available warehouse stock options.
Yes, we can provide the majority of requested certifications and documents, including Certificates of Analysis / Conformance (EN 10204 3.1); Third-Party Inspection Reports; Marine Insurance; Certificate of Origin, and export customs declarations.
For custom stock samples, the lead time is approximately 7 days. For volume mass production, the typical lead time is 20-30 days after receiving the advance deposit. These lead times become effective when we receive your initial deposit and final mechanical drawings. We strive to accommodate strict production deadlines.
We accept wire transfers directly to our corporate bank account, Western Union, and PayPal. Our typical commercial term is a 30% deposit in advance, with the remaining 70% balance settled against the copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L).
We warrant our materials and metallurgical workmanship. Our commitment is to ensure your long-term satisfaction. Whether within the official warranty period or beyond, it is our core service philosophy to address and resolve all issues to customer satisfaction.
Yes, we always utilize heavy-duty, seaworthy export packaging. Coiled tubes are safely spooled onto reinforced wooden or iron reels, shrink-wrapped, and protected against moisture. Custom hazard-resistant packing is available for critical transport modes.
Shipping costs depend on the transport method chosen. Air express is the fastest but most expensive option, whereas ocean freight is the most cost-efficient route for bulk container quantities. Accurate freight quotes can be provided once we receive detailed dimensions and weights.
