Sihe Steel
Optimized coiled tubing variants tailored for high-consequence operations including the Pančevo refinery upgrades, regional geothermal projects, and chemical infrastructure pipelines.
As Central and Eastern Europe continues its transition towards robust domestic energy and manufacturing resilience, Serbia has positioned itself as an emerging industrial powerhouse. The modernization of the NIS (Naftna Industrija Srbije) refinery systems, coupled with ongoing investments in the Balkan Stream natural gas transit network, has spurred unprecedented demand for high-strength, corrosion-resistant alloys (CRAs). Among these, **Alloy 625 (UNS N06625)** stands out as the material of choice for the most challenging operating parameters.
Serbian industrial environments, ranging from sulfur-rich crude processing units in Pančevo to the complex chemical processing clusters in Šabac, present aggressive corrosive parameters. The presence of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), and chlorides at elevated temperatures will rapidly cause chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in standard 304 and 316 austenitic stainless steels.
Alloy 625 coiled tubing prevents these failure mechanisms. Its high nickel content (minimum 58%) provides immunity to chloride-ion stress cracking. Molybdenum and niobium work synergistically to resist pitting and crevice corrosion, while chromium delivers superb protection against oxidizing environments. This ensures consistent mechanical integrity across prolonged exposure cycles.
Traditionally, industrial lines relied on segmented piping requiring multiple welds. Each weld zone represents a potential heat-affected zone (HAZ) vulnerable to localized corrosion and mechanical fatigue. Seamless coiled tubing eliminates up to 99% of field-welding requirements, offering a continuous conduit that can stretch up to 10,000 meters (32,800 feet).
For Serbian utility providers and pipeline operators, this translates directly to minimized installation times, dramatically reduced leak risks, and lowered asset maintenance expenditures over the system's life cycle.
Our manufacturing processes are aligned with global benchmarks, utilizing state-of-the-art bright annealing technology. The application of online bright annealing ensures that the material achieves a homogenous microstructure, eliminating residual drawing stresses while maintaining a scale-free, high-integrity surface finish. We execute rigorous QA check-points on 100% of our products:
| Parameter/Test | Reference Standard | Description / Objective |
|---|---|---|
| Dimension Tolerances | ASTM B704 / ASME SB704 | Ensures wall thickness and outer diameter tolerances meet high-precision hydraulic requirements. |
| Eddy Current Testing | ASTM E426 | Non-destructive detection of surface cracks, inclusions, and discontinuities along the entire tubing length. |
| Hydrostatic Pressure Testing | ASTM B704 | Verifies mechanical boundary integrity up to design limit pressures, avoiding field blowouts. |
| Flaring & Bending Tests | EN 10218-1 / GB/T 242 | Ensures cold-working ductility without cracking during field routing and connection makeups. |
| Bright Annealing | In-House Furnace System | Controlled hydrogen atmosphere heat treatment to optimize ductility and surface shine. |
Our enterprise boasts over ten years of continuous history, specializing in the development and production of seamless coiled tubing for heavy-duty industrial installations.
Operating six dedicated production lines, Liaocheng Sihe Stainless Steel Material LTD manufactures high-quality sheets, pipes, and seamless coiled tubing designed to withstand extreme environments. We strictly adhere to production standards including **GB, ASTM, ASME, JIS, and EN**.
Our portfolio includes standard austenitic grades (304/304L, 316L, 321, 317L, 309S, 310S), specialty super-austenitics (Incoloy 800, Incoloy 825), duplex and super duplex configurations (Duplex 2205, Super Duplex 2507), and super-alloys (Inconel 625). Tubing is available in sizes ranging from an outer diameter of **0.125 inches (3.175 mm)** up to **1 inch (25.4 mm)**, with wall thicknesses up to **0.165 inches (3.0 mm)**. We offer single continuous lengths of up to **10,000 meters (32,800 feet)**, minimizing connection counts and boosting reliability.
Our facility houses world-class bright annealing technology, facilitating online softening treatments that optimize alloy ductility. Our testing setup includes compression, flaring, bending, 100% hardness validation, tensile testing, and air tightness testing. Over 80% of our products are exported globally, servicing major accounts across the US, Germany, Spain, South America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
We support specialized dimensional and length requirements for different grades (304, 316L, 2205, 625), delivering outer diameters ranging from 6.35mm to 19mm custom-tailored to site requirements.
Our options include continuous orbital welding, specialized bending, precision redraw processing, and spiral forming for localized heat-exchange applications.
For custom sub-assemblies, we perform precision straightening alongside laser, abrasive-wheel, or mechanical parting cuts to prevent inner-diameter deformation.
Our operations are backed by rigorous compliance certifications, validating our status as a trusted tier-1 vendor for critical systems.
