Lowering the carbon content to a maximum of 0.03% in the 316L variant prevents chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries during welding or high-temperature operations, eliminating susceptibility to intergranular corrosion.
The corrosion resistance threshold of our 316/316L coiled tubing is calculated using: PREN = %Cr + 3.3%Mo + 16%N. With tightly managed elemental tolerances, our 316L alloy consistently achieves a high PREN value, ensuring reliable passivation under thermal stress and acidic exposure.

Liaocheng Sihe Stainless Steel Material LTD operates six advanced production lines, including three production lines dedicated to long-length coiled configurations. Our facility integrates state-of-the-art online bright hydrogen annealing (BA) technology. This heat treatment occurs in a protective hydrogen atmosphere, allowing us to soften the stainless steel pipe inline. This preserves a bright surface finish and eliminates internal stresses without requiring post-annealing chemical pickling.
Our manufacturing envelops outer diameters ranging from 0.125 inches (3.175 mm) to 1 inch (25.4 mm), with wall thicknesses up to 0.165 inches (3.0 mm). By offering continuous spool lengths up to 32,800 feet (10,000 meters) without orbital butt welds, we supply high-integrity lines for subsea control systems, downhole chemical injection, and chemical process instrumentation.
