Sihe Steel
Stainless steel sheet & plate is often referred to as corrosion-resistant steel since it does not stain, corrode or rust as easily as regular carbon steel. Stainless steel sheet & plate is the perfect solution for applications that require the metal to have anti-oxidation qualities.
Dairy, beverage and food product handling/processing equipment. Used for handling acetic, nitric, and citric acids; organic and inorganic chemicals, dye stuff, crude and refined oils; instruments; hospital equipment; applications requiring welding.

Type 304 stainless steel contains high levels of chromium (typically 18% to 20%) and nickel (8% to 10.5%). The chromium forms an invisible, passive chromium oxide layer on the metal's surface when exposed to oxygen, preventing further corrosion and rust under normal atmospheric conditions.
Grade 304L is a low-carbon variant of Grade 304. The "L" stands for low carbon (maximum 0.03% compared to 0.08% in standard 304). This reduced carbon content prevents harmful carbide precipitation during the welding process in the temperature range of 800ºF to 1500ºF, ensuring high corrosion resistance in welded structures without requiring post-weld annealing.
No, Type 304 stainless steel is austenitic and is non-magnetic in its annealed state. However, it may exhibit slight magnetic properties after cold working or processing due to the modification of its internal crystalline structure.
The standard finishes include NO.1 (hot rolled and pickled), NO.2D (matte cold rolled), NO.2B (bright cold rolled), BA (bright annealed), and various polished finishes like NO.4 (brushed/satin) and HL (hairline finish), which are widely used for decorative and kitchen applications.
Due to its excellent formability and hygiene properties, Type 304 is extensively used in food and beverage processing, dairy equipment, chemical transportation vessels, heat exchangers, home appliances, architectural decorations, and medical tools.
