Stainless steel capillary and stainless steel small tubes are widely used in medical treatment, fiber-optic, pen making, electronic welding products, light cable joints, food, vintage, dairy, drinks, pharmacy, and biochemistry. Different lengths can be provided according to specific requests.

Key Feature: Capillary tubes with a maximum bore of 0.0158 in. are available in a wide range of stainless steels. These capillary tubes are characterized by tight tolerances, and the inside surface of the tubes is free from oil, grease, and other particles. This ensures an optimized and even flow of liquids and gases from the sensor to the measuring instrument.

Stainless steel coiled tubing is available in a range of different product forms depending on customer requirements. We manufacture welded and seamless tube products. The standard grades include 304, 304L, 316L (UNS S31603), Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 & S31803), Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825), Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). Other grades of stainless steel in duplex, superduplex, and nickel alloy are available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the main application areas for stainless steel capillary tubes?
Stainless steel capillary tubes are widely utilized in high-precision fields such as medical instruments, temperature control sensors, industrial thermometers, electronic components, pen making, communication antennas, micro-dispensing needles, and micro-flow systems for liquids and gases.
Which material grades are available for your coiled tubing?
We offer coiled tubing in a wide selection of grades, including standard Austenitic stainless steels like 304, 304L, 316L, 317L, 321, and 310S, Duplex/Super Duplex options like 2205 and 2507, and high-performance nickel alloys such as Incoloy 825 and Inconel 625.
What size ranges can you produce for coiled control lines?
Our production capacity covers outside diameters (OD) from 3mm (0.118’’) to 25.4mm (1.00’’) with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm (0.020’’) up to 3mm (0.118’’). Lengths can be customized from 200m to 1500m per coil, and up to 35,000m for special requirements.
How does temperature affect the working pressure limits of TP 316L tubing?
As temperatures rise, the allowable working pressure of the tubing decreases. For example, using the standard adjustment factors, seamless TP 316L retains 100% of its rated pressure at 100°F (38°C), but it drops to 87% at 200°F (93°C) and down to 63% at 400°F (204°C).
What quality testing procedures do the finished tubes undergo?
To ensure complete safety and accuracy, we conduct a variety of critical evaluations on finished products. These include Non-destructive testing (NDT), Hydrostatic pressure tests, surface finish checks, dimensional tolerance accuracy verification, flare/coning tests, and full mechanical and chemical property analyses.
