316 Stainless Steel Sheet & Plate Factories & Pricelist

Global Industrial Supply Solutions, High-Precision Manufacturing, and Deep Technical Specifications for Severe Corrosion Environments

Metallurgical Overview & Global Trends

In modern industrial applications, the selection of materials dictates the operational lifetime and safety threshold of critical systems. 316 Stainless Steel (UNS S31600) and its low-carbon variant 316L (UNS S31603) represent the pinnacle of cost-effective austenitic corrosion resistance. Unlike standard 304 grades, 316-grade alloy features a dedicated addition of 2.0% to 3.0% molybdenum. This small chemical adjustment significantly boosts the Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN), ensuring safety in high-chloride, acidic, and marine environments.

Globally, the demand for 316 stainless steel sheets, plates, and coiled tubing has evolved. As heavy industries shift toward harsher subsea extractions, micro-semiconductor manufacturing, clean pharmaceutical setups, and green hydrogen storage systems, purchasing specifications have grown highly complex. Global procurement managers no longer look for simple stockists; they require direct interaction with integrated factories capable of providing certified material traceabilities, advanced heat-treatment options, and strict compliance with standards like ASTM A240, ASME SA240, and EN 10028-7.

At Liaocheng Sihe Stainless Steel Material LTD, we stand at the threshold of this manufacturing transition, offering high-precision processing, comprehensive certification, and direct-to-destination supply chains designed to lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

China Factory 4.0: Supply Chain Resilience & Efficiency

Precision Metallurgy

We strictly control chemical elements (Cr, Ni, Mo, and C levels) to match global guidelines, allowing high performance in environments prone to grain boundary sensitization.

Online Bright Annealing

By employing inline hydrogen-nitrogen protective bright annealing heat-treatment technologies, we remove structural stress and keep surfaces clean without requiring chemical pickling.

100% Quality Validation

All finished sheets, plates, and coiled tubing undergo multiple non-destructive testing phases: pneumatic, hydrostatic, tension, hardness check, flaring, and flattening tests.

The manufacturing infrastructure in Liaocheng City acts as a robust supply ecosystem. By maintaining an integrated workflow from raw billet selection through specialized drawing, rolling, heat treating, and test packaging, Liaocheng Sihe is able to offer competitive bulk pricing without compromising dimensional stability. Our system supports custom sizes with an outer diameter spanning from 0.125 inches (3.175 mm) to 1 inch (25.4 mm), wall thickness up to 0.165 inches (3 mm), and continuous coil lengths up to 32,800 feet (10,000 meters).

Procurement & Technical FAQ

What are your prices?
Our prices are subject to change depending on supply and other market factors. We will send you an updated price list after your company contact us for further information.
Do you have a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Yes, we require all international orders to have an ongoing minimum order quantity. If you are looking to resell but in much smaller quantities, we recommend you check out our website or contact our sales team to discuss trial configurations.
Can you supply the relevant documentation?
Yes, we can provide most documentation including Certificates of Analysis / Conformance; Mill Test Certificates (MTC) matching EN 10204 3.1; Insurance; Certificates of Origin, and other export documents where required.
What is the average lead time?
For samples, the lead time is about 7 days. For mass production, the lead time is 20-30 days after receiving the deposit payment. The lead times become effective when (1) we have received your deposit, and (2) we have your final approval for your products. In all cases we will try to accommodate your needs. In most cases we are able to do so.
What kinds of payment methods do you accept?
You can make the payment to our bank account, Western Union or PayPal: 30% deposit in advance, 70% balance against the copy of B/L.
What is the product warranty?
We warranty our materials and workmanship. Our commitment is to your satisfaction with our products. In warranty or not, it is the culture of our company to address and resolve all customer issues to everyone's satisfaction.
Do you guarantee safe and secure delivery of products?
Yes, we always use high quality export packaging. We also use specialized hazard packing for dangerous goods and validated cold storage shippers for temperature sensitive items. Specialist packaging and non-standard packing requirements may incur an additional charge.
How about the shipping fees?
The shipping cost depends on the way you choose to get the goods. Express is normally the quickest but also most expensive way. By seafreight is the best solution for big amounts. Exact freight rates we can only give you if we know the details of amount, weight and way. Please contact us for further information.
What are the primary differences between 316 and 316L stainless steel?
The fundamental difference lies in carbon concentration. Grade 316 contains up to 0.08% carbon, while 316L is limited to 0.03% maximum. The lower carbon profile in 316L minimizes harmful carbide precipitation during welding processes, preventing intergranular corrosion and making it the ideal choice for heavy-gauge welded structures.
How does Liaocheng Sihe guarantee the quality of subsea umbilical tubing?
Subsea environments demand absolute structural integrity. We perform 100% electromagnetic and ultrasonic non-destructive testing along with high-pressure hydrostatic analysis. By employing bright annealing under controlled atmospheres, we ensure clean internal surfaces, avoiding stress nodes along the continuous 10,000m length of the umbilical systems.
